Graham Careford

Course Manager at Bush Hill Park Golf Club

Within two months we went from a flat, waterlogged, uninspiring green to an undulating, free draining, exciting new championship standard 18thgreen! The decision to redevelop the 18th was a brave one. The work was to be carried out in the spring ahead of the golfing season, but all fears were quashed very early on with the excellent standard of work that was being carried out. Within a couple of weeks the members could see the new green developing before their eyes. From taking up the old green on the 5th March to opening 9 weeks later on the 7th May, the new green met all our expectations and more. Height of cut on the opening day was 3mm and with the green was stimping at 10 feet. The members and guests loved it!

The new green is a real asset to our club and sits beautifully in front of the Georgian manor clubhouse. Future projects are already being planned and we look forward to working with Greg in the future.
